TROY, N.Y. (WNYT) Troy police say recent animal neglect cases in the city have raised concern as officers investigate another dog found in poor condition. Troy police said a neighbor helped officers learn that an 8-month-old Pitbull mix named Sage was being neglected. Police said the puppy was significantly underweight, needed immediate medical attention and was on the verge of death. Police arrested Deahvion Nobles of Troy in the case. Police are also investigating a dog found tied to a tree near Oawood Avenue two days earlier and they arrested two people in September after a 6-month-old pitbull named Maggie was found underweight and in need of immediate care.
