A Buffalo man stole more than $175,000 in insurance money from a 72-year-old relative and spent much of it on sports gambling, vehicles, designer clothes and jewelry, prosecutors said.The money was meant for the victim after a fire damaged his Buffalo home, according to the Erie County District Attorney’s Office.
