Experts update No. 2 Ohio State vs. USC prediction as Jeremiah Smith, Maiava top Underdog Pick’em player props

No. 2 Ohio State (6-1) visits USC (6-2) on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 7:30 p.m. ET, with the Buckeyes’ quarterback uncertainty taking center stage for Underdog traders. Julian Sayin remains sidelined, and Ryan Day has left open the possibility of playing both Luke Fahey and Tavien St. Clair, creating uncertainty around Ohio State’s offensive ceiling and Jeremiah Smith’s receiving production and Heisman campaign. Ohio State remains roughly a touchdown favorite, but USC returns home looking to rebound from a 24-7 loss at Wisconsin. The broader betting market lists the Buckeyes at -6.5 with a 51.5-point total.
